I like how Camate said "immortals" twice. Because otherwise, the thread full of Blue Mages would have no idea who was being referred to.

No fixes for magical Blue Magic?

Am I the only one utterly terrified by this? I foresee our current 3-4k multi hit spells falling to less than a thousand.

I hope I'm wrong, but it'd be typical s.e. to butter us up with news of the new spells just before the hammer drops...

I am a bit worried about it as well, though I hope that it's a fix to how appalling our physical spell damage is against VT+ mobs more than anything. Once you get into the higher level mobs (which is pretty much the real meat of the game nowadays), the majority of our spells end up doing terrible without something like /THF and Sneak Attack being utilized alongside them.

come on guys, calm down. if we were going to get nerfed, it would have been done already. maybe you havent noticed, but some new weapons have come out the annihilate everything. im pretty sure, like 97%, that spells with get an adjustment so we can actually do some damage on higher lvl content in comparison with the weapons.

That update would be nice. Too bad I don't have the interest in subbing to XI anymore since there is no one left in my LSes and my friend list.
