How did you? Are these manageable? I can dual-box an 85WHM with my BLU/whatever but Death Scissors has me kinda worried.
Any advice on how you went about doing these would be great. Only other option of mine is 90RDM, PLD is 30 lol.

Jyeshta is very very stunnable. Head **** last slightly longer on it than normal mob.

Now for Capricornus, I don't vouch you to solo it, though DNC can solo it.

Tammuz is easy, any job with stona from 2nd char should be able to kill it. But usually it's easy enough to get people on Tammuz.

Dnc can solo it but he needs his sword equipped for it to count.

Blu can solo jyestha really easily with a moderate eva setup and sudden lunges (even pre-sudden lunge). Just always have at least 1 shadow up to eat break, if you're not bringing the whm.

Capricornus seems to have differing AIs depending on the spawn. Some times he spams his 2 hr and some times he never uses it. My friend tried blu/nin eva tanking it, but the 2hr tends to wipe shadows quick and he builds resist to sudden lunge. Your best bet is to zerg it. Get some tp and set up a SC->MB and it'll be near death, throw another 2-3 spells out.

Tammuz, don't solo him, petribreath will get you killed. Easy kill w/ evasion set + stona though.

There's usually tons of NINs doing the same trial path that you can team up with (I've soloed both Jysesytha (however the crap you spell it) and Capricornus on NIN for Kannagi, and NIN + anything/WHM makes Tammuz a joke), so you can usually just do that.

I agree with the above poster on Capricornus--he definitely has HQ and NQ spawns. On the NQs, you can just stun his spammage easily, on the HQs, you'll probably want help. With Head **** + Sudden Lunge + /NIN shadows, you can kite him pretty much indefinitely since stuns seem to land for long durations on him, but to kill in a timely manner you'll want support or a duo partner.

solo'd all of 'em on blu~

(and all the other T2's that pop in their respective zones too. Kraken one was the worst of the bunch, but more annoying than anything.)

Edit: correction, brought a WHM for stona for Tammuz

I did all three solo on blu, at least twice. There are often people to team up with.

Jyeshtha is incredibly easy, as mentioned above.

I didn't have any trouble at all with capricornus just using regular gear.

Tammuz can be done with evasion gear. Even getting petrified, I managed to not get hit until it wore. Obviously, there's some luck to that.

Getting your tier 1 to change to tier 2 and hoping it doesn't change to tier 3 is the far worse part, compared to killing the NMs. Although, the repop time for tammuz is pretty annoying.

Best thing I ever did was get all of the tier 3's from each zone, then sit on them. Then, through careful reading, I'd hone in on the 2's. When I killed him, it was impossible to turn in to a tier 3, so I kept my pop.

I solo'd these. Jyeshtha can kill you really easily, but I imagine Sudden Lunge makes him a joke now, as it stuns for a ridiculously long time. Honestly, Head **** is obsolete with Sudden Lunge.

For Jyeshtha, keep the damage up, basically. He's plenty manageable so long as you don't get petrified, but Break is instant cast and he likes to cast it right after taking your shadows somehow. If you keep stunning and nuking he'll go down pretty quick, limiting the chance for something to go wrong.

Capricornus is super easy. Just stun when you see his two hour and start kiting. Have 100 TP and Chain Affinity ready when he goes to 20% and you can just stun -> finish him with one skillchain at the end, rather than kiting.

Other than the kiting, it's straight forward. Use stun, use flash, keep shadows up, keep hitting him with spells as MP allows and stabbing him.

Tammuz.. I'm not sure. With a healer, he's prolly easy, but he's immune to stun and hits ridiculously hard. Maybe he's easier to evasion tank at 95 than 90, but at 90 he was awful to me.

Yeah, I keep them when they change. I did the same thing for serpentes sabots. I got through tammuz without it changing at all, so that was nice. Until I end up doing a katana or some **** and it changes 1/1.
