What!?!? What is this rediculousness comparing Squirrel and Rabbit sacrifices? ARe there no theologians w/ experience in these matters?

There is no comparison at all between the 2! Squirrel is the ONLY way to go.

REally comparing the sacrifice of a hapless rarab from any common plains to that of a sentient tarutaru whom you need to capture and ritually slaughter is absurd.

Getting the squirrel sacrifice or not makes or breaks the success of all but empyrean armor drop rates. The R.N.G. (no that's not ranger!) god values squirrel sacrifice above all else! (chicken is 2nd. KFC inferior, Popeyes is acceptable, home-made usually best but results vary[obviously]).

At first, I thought you were going for a kimjongil impression, but now I'm not so sure.

It's more likely that rabbits are far more plentiful that makes him beg the question. Unfortunately, as any serious dabbler knows, it is the rarity of the squirrels that make them more valuable. Plus, the frantic squealing and begging makes it more enjoyable as well. Rabbits just don't give the same satisfaction to us or the RNGs.

It's also helpful to remember that sometimes it's important to have a rabbit's foot - the luck that this brings to someone can sometimes tip the RNGs just enough in our favor.

This is slightly offtopic, but I got so sick of going 0/99999 on Harden Shell, that I switched to going after Barrier Tusk (I have started playing BLU a lot more recently, so I'm having to undo several level caps worth of gimpness in order to use it for anything besides CW cleaving). In the process of soloing Morose Marids in Abby-Vunk for the spell, I accidentally aggroed Executioner. And soundly stomped him into the ground. I was BLU/RDM, and over a period of ~10 minutes (might have been longer, but felt like about 10), I Heavy Striked and Sudden Lunged him to death in a turtle setup.

That's probably pretty routine for the BLUs on here that are more hardcore than me, but it's times like these that remind me why I put up with the 0/99999 on spells. <3 this job.

Also, AFK going squirrel hunting.

If you are 0/99999, you may want to check your spell list. You probably missed it in the log. No joke, check it, I've missed them too.

Yeah, ever since that happened to me with Wild Carrot back in the day (I think I wasted 2 hours on that when I apparently had already learned the spell somewhere in there), I always check to make sure when it takes longer than usual to learn a spell.

Ensure that the squirrel you sacrifice isn't of the of radioactive variety.

The gods know it's not a true sacrifice when you can just re-summon carby 2 seconds later, and you'll only anger them.

Besides, everyone knows that taru sacrifice is the only true way to go.

I went to the woodlands /bst and learned it from the marids there. Easy-peasy (I sounds like a **** tarutaru). On the Harden Shell topic I was 1/20. Bored sensesless when i got it, but happy when I finally left those **** giant walking soup bowls!

I so agree with the sacrifing the tarutaru is better then the other two options. I plan to use all three thought when I try for thunderbolt. Sigh...
