61? 60? I think at least it's Lv61 if you check them as EP..

Yeah its about 60 most things that check easy prey outside of abyssea should really be too weak but they had them remain easy prey so that they would still count towards magician trials.

Easy prey is very broad now, things that were easy prey at 75 are still easy prey but so are things that were tough at 75 for example Imps in Caedarva mire.

Generally though from a spell learning perspective you can solo everything now with little difficulty as long as your not careless with mobs that link or have some other nasty surprises and skill up wise just go to level appropriate mobs till they don't give any more.

If your just wondering what you can run past without needing sneak and invisble basicly half the game the other half will still try to kill you so always /check :p

Pashhow Marshlands(S) has leeches that are ep not far from campaign warp npc failing that level sync 30ish and kill the leeches in Qufim Island.

Anything that was EP at 75 is still EP at higher levels. Additionally, anything that aggroed you at 75 will still aggro you at higher levels. Sucks, don't it?

Anyway, the lowest level mob that's still EP is still level 56.

Go kill leeches around the pond in the mire, rain is very frequent, usually takes just one storm to finish the trial.

Which shamshir are you working on?

STR and Attack one, dark path. isn't that the best one for BLU?

The STR and Attack one is fire path, which is virtually impossible to do. I'd not recommend it because honestly, you could get an Almace or the WoE equivalent upgraded for much less work than the fire Shamshir. And an Almace is superior to a fire Shamshir.

I did the ice ones myself, because ice is the easiest path and the damage/delay ratio is good. Also, +20 INT/+20 MAB is pretty nice for Sanguine Blade, which will outdamage every other sword WS short of the empyrean if you build for it.

Wind/Earth would likely see more use if you like to solo or tank a lot, Fire/Lightning are better for meleeing, but honestly if you want the best melee DPS swords, Almace or the WoE variant and the DA+10% Khanda are your best bet.

I don't think Dark, Water, or Light are particularly useful.

I'd do either Ice, Wind, or Earth myself. Fire is 'better'(tm) but not worth the effort, as superior weapons are easier to get. Ice (mab) is easy and can be done in an afternoon. Wind or Earth (Eva or -PDT) take longer, but will remain eternally useful for their niche applications. Lightning is handy if your acc is bad for some reason, but I'm not sure you'd ever take off your Almace or Khanda for it, so unless it's one of the easy trials...

I looked through the trials for the INT-MAB shamshir, and as you said there was an easier route that way, but kill 250 Buffalos during ice weather, is that really possible to do in an afternoon if you have to start from the frist trial? 5 spawns in uleguerand range seems to low to kill 250 in one day?

Or mabe you could do DOM OP in aby ule range?

Uleguerand Range has ice weather almost every day. So you rely on weather, not day for INT sword.

You make it sound like you HAVE to wait for weather.

Took me 8 days of fire day focused play (usually 2 fire days per real life day) to get 2 strength Shamshir from start to the then cap of 80 they are in no way impossible to get I have 2 95 versions and the 90 and 95 trials just take geodes so easy to buy at 5-10k each.

I will admit there are easier options available and changing playstyle means full strength isn't always what you need but that +20 strength boost and +40 attack at 95 is somthing I wouldn't give up easily.

Doing it now you'll have a higher level so you can easily solo the mobs but will not have as many people waiting to team up so I'd think it wouldn't be as quick as what I did plus I overlapped trials which confuses a lot of players that just do them one at a time not realising killing manticores and beast are the same thing etc.

To say you could get an Almace in the same time while somewhat true also assumes you have the man power to do so I'm going to assume that setting such a goal would be unrealistic for a player like you as it also is for me.

Not saying you can't do it though go big or go home ^^

Fire Shamshir wasn't very hard at all. Plenty of people doing similar trials. Just went into aby on Firesday and teamed up with other players killing same mobs. While you don't get the weather, with the right atma you get fast kills so you can put down 5 mobs in the time it would take you to kill one outside of Aby.

My question is: I see alot of BLU with the MACC Shamshir. Is that for procs on enfeebling BLU spells? Shouldn't really help physical BLU Acc at all.

They have M.acc because its easy mainly and can't knock extra mp and help with additional effects or casting without staves and keeping tp etc.
#16kimjongil76, Posted: Oct 12 2011 at 9:33 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I made all the swords. I dont melee in most but use to macro spells.
