Learning Cannonbal in Abyssea?Follow

Pretty simple question. I killed about a gazillion gullycampas in Attowa(a)making Fire Taipans +2 and never saw it. Do they even use this move?

Just to expand Wamouracampas occasionally switch between a flat 'open' stance, and a curled up almost 'ball' like stance. They do this both in and out of combat and I'm not sure if its completely random or timed, however big spike damage can force them into a ball (They repop in the open form).

They will only ever use Cannonball whilst in the curled up stance. Whilst in their open form they gain access to Thermal Pulse instead, pay attention to their body posture and focus on the hunch backed ones and you should see CannonBall more often.

I learned mine in Mount.Z btw, I have no idea if the aby ones follow the same behaviour, but I'd assume they do.

As coincidence would have it, the next spell on my todo list is Thermal Pulse, looking at wiki it mentions that the abyssea ones switch to ball stance much less often, making them great Thermal Pulse prey, but not so good for cannonball.

#5kimjongil76, Posted: Aug 21 2011 at 11:27 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) He can learn both. Use a low lvl weapon to give to and small dmg. Like lvl 20 or less weapon. After move is used, switch to strong sword. Don't use big spells to feed tp to learn thermal pulse.

The wamouracampa in abyssea do not change stance. they do not do cannonball. you need to go to Zhayolm to learn cannonball.

Yeah for sure they don't do it in aby. If you take the undersea ruins to Mount Z it leads right to the camp where the cannonball mobs are and they use it frequently
