Has anyone played with the TP+Bonus sword and Chant du Cygne??? Seems from around the net others are seeing the bonus on the Main hand even if off handed. www.bluegartr.com/threads/103597-Temporary-Random-Facts-Thread?p=4701336&viewfull=1#post4701336

Seems a fun combo for sanquine blade with smiting blow and atma of the cosmos for sure if works. If they stack smiting tp bonus and the off hand swords bonus.

On Smiting Blow stacking was looking at the heals on it pure and simple not a damage increase with the off-hand combo and useing atma of the cosmos for the damage increase.

Does anyone know what is the 200%/300% tp crit rate increase on CDC?

Not enough to outshine any multi-hit offhand.

Hmmm, I unlocked BLU yesterday so I'm a total newb on this job. However, I was hoping to justify putting my Genbu's shield to use. No?

I sometimes use Genbu's shield when I'm tanking and intend to stay alive long enough for the healers to cure me. Usually, however, the benefits of an off-hand sword out weigh the benefits of having -10% damage physical damage reduction. If the shield were simply Damage Taken, I'd probably consider using it a whole lot more often.

The issue with Genbu's is that BLU gets no native shield skill, so it offers no benefits over the (incredibly easy to make) PDT Shamshir +2. I used to use it on /THF or whatnot just because there was nothing better to put in the offhand, but nowadays you might as well use a sword that does the same thing while hitting things.

I use it for pulling if I am doing AoE farming alone, a few other pieces too for about 30% total. I have to agree though if I had made one of the PDT swords I would use that instead but this is good enough for me for now :D

I use genboob's shield when rounding up mobs for charged whisker. I generally don't have dual wield set and sub rdm, and I've got -50% with it. Plus, I only have one -PDT sword. I could use terra's staff just as easily, but meh.

Genbu's shield has evasion+, so it still offers more survive-ability than a PDT-sword.
