Well with SE raiding the +crit damage cap to 100 I decided to take another look at crit damage atma's + /THF and I was surprised. CA Efflux SA VC at 0TP was doing 6K+ on regular monster and 3~4.5K on the Ironclad giant in Abyssea Ully (the one for the Omega II pop). Was dealing the same damage on Omega II, but honestly I preferred to stay the fck away from that guy. Which brings me to my second part, I did a quick and dirty CB build using my regular STR + Blue Skill orientated macro along with Prot V / Cocoon / Tacos. From 20 feet I was able to SA CB for 1~2K and CA SA for 3K, toss in Efflux for closer to 4K. Since this guy has a ton of high damage AoE's and annoying status ailments, I prefer to stay out of range and just plink away with CB spam over time and run in for VC / QC / GR / Diss when we proc Red !! on it. All in All seemed to work out really well, I'd suggest anyone who is doing NM's with a group to look into a /THF Crit Damage build (RR SS and possibly VV).
