as an example, quick footnote to the zuchetto argument i noted reading dracoth's post when i posted, is a prime example of what i mean.

for spells that macc is a relevant stat, how could you possibly deny that it is a good piece? i use it for stuns, sleeps, drains, enfeebles, etc. with appropriate +stat and/or stave given circumstances. i'd even go as far to include morrigan's, nashira, and diana's, but that's just me. and that's just one stat on one piece of gear, heh.

Since you're referencing my post, I'll assume you're only talking about the second one. Reread my first post (where I was more concise) and the tone of the second one (where I was replying to why it shouldn't be fulltimed).

Specifically, from my first post:

The only thing redeeming on the Zucchetto is the M.Acc, but that's macro only. You shouldn't be tp'ing int this head piece.

conceded, but my main point was that we should definitely not exclude situational pieces that are very good at what they do.
Fair enough on the M.Acc argument, but I just don't like to see people who are misled by the (limited) melee stats on it and think it's somehow ok to fulltime it. If it'll stop an argument I'll white/magenta it.

ok, hopefully last edit for a while til i see a response, went hunting through my spellcast to see sets i defined and what i personally would like to see included in a comprehensive blu guide:

tp set
ws set
cannonball
big 3
macc
cures
mnd nukes
int nukes
chr nukes
breath spells

now i don't know if that's what your guide intended to accomplish, but with the help of the blu forum i think it could certainly become that.

Well, I'm not going to directly tell people how to set themselves up every time -- funding and/or doing different events will naturally account for a healthy dose of variation -- but you raise an interesting point all the same. I might separate it so that aqua pieces have a sub-category for Cannonball (being as it behaves so strangely), and lime pieces have a sub-category for breathing. (done, royal blue for Cannonball and sea green for breathing)

Re. something I didn't quote about you stopping reading -- I can respect that, although I'd like to know exactly what else you disagreed with, and why.

I've went ahead and stickied this topic.

One thing I noticed that seemed to be missing (though I might have just passed it over without paying too close attention), but I'd add the Volunteer's Brais as an option for Leg armor 70+. Between +20 MP and +6 Acc, they're not a bad option as far as a TP piece till you can get your hands on a pair of augmented Desultors or Homam Cosciales.

Cheers, and yes, that was an oversight that's been pointed out before -- I apparently procrastinate so hard that I forgot to follow it up after it was right there staring me in the face.

Starting on the stuff from the March update, but it's likely to be slow. I won't address magian weapons for about two weeks or so, either, as we don't know enough about them.

I notice you didn't mention a few items:

Crimson's Set (Cuisses mostly)
ToAU's Rings (Ulthalam's Ring)
Magnetic Earring
Swift Belt
this is a strickly sneak & invis piece but it helps Skulker's Cape
and Junior Musketeer Chakram +2

The legs are the only bits of that set that, frankly, are any good -- the rest is pretty much garbage for a BLU.

Yes I did, or do you mean Balrahn's Ring?

Magnetic Earring
I didn't mention it because it's garbage.

Swift Belt
I mentioned it.

Does that thing work with ninjutsu?

Given the amount of time a BLU is likely to spend in Signet areas (not very much considering ERS/Aht Urhgan parties), I didn't mention it because I don't believe you'll get any benefit out of it over a bog standard Chakram or Rogetsurin.

Will update with June stuff when we find out everything about how you get things.
