The only problem with the new two hour is that, unless they remove it for the duration of the effect, there's going to be that few second delay in between first triggering the Bloodpact and the Bloodpact actually going off. It'll still be a really great ability, but depending on the total duration of the effect and whether that delay remains, it might be a more tempered two-hour than it could be.

Very true. If they behave like JA's being instantaneous then we have something to work with. If not, it's going to be terribly annoying. Not with out uses, but still not the best SE can do.

Terribly annoying? I don't know about that... being able to drop ten Pred Claws in a 30-second span doesn't sound too terrible to me. Plus, with any luck the relic+2 augment will boost the duration to 60 seconds, allowing you to land twenty of them. I think this could even put SMN into the zerg territory. Imagine spamming twenty Chaotic Strikes back-to-back. Or chain-squall!

I think this is perfect, although I hope they don't think this fixes SMN's 45-second BP timer problem. It doesn't even come close. SMN still needs a decrease to the minimum BP timer down to at least 30 seconds, possibly less. When FFXI was fresh the 45 seconds made sense, because DD's could only WS every 30 seconds or so. Now DDs WS every 10-15 seconds, and SMN is still stuck at 45...

BP recast cap needs to be 12 seconds (-80%) in line with haste and the FC and Recast changes.

i like the idea but im disappointed that the BP delay ability is a 2hr and not a regular ability unless they plan to somehow lower the bp timer when your 2hr isnt active with another JA that isnt a 2hr

I was just messing around with Astral Conduit on the test server. I went into aby altep and managed to get off 4-5 pred claws in a row. It's pretty powerful. It resets the timers right away, so you can BP, then hit AC, then BP repeatedly until the timer is gone, or the mob is dead. I really like it so far.
