WotG earrringFollow

Heya everyone!

We get 2 augments on a lvl 90 earring from completing WotG storyline. Wiki says the final reward is the Moonshade Earring, which you pick 2 augments for.

Choose 1st Augment:

Ranged Accuracy+4
Ranged Attack+4
Magic Accuracy +4
Magic Attack Bonus+4

Choose 2nd Augment:

Latent effect: Regain
Latent effect: Refresh
Occ. grants dmg. bonus based on TP +5%
TP Bonus +25
Occ. maximizes Magic Accuracy +3%
Occ. quickens spellcasting +3%
Counter +3
Occ. inc. resist to all stat. ailments +5

for Regain,
latent = weapon drawn

for Refresh,
latent = weapon kept (not drawn)

For Smn, I think we could get +25 MP(1st augment) and Latent: Refresh(2nd augment)since we don't really need to melee with our staff, which would be like a free perp-1 earring ^^ What are your ideas on that?

I see the refresh part being a very handy tool outside of abyssea. It is just an awesome resting piece, and not very bad for idling either. In many cases it would also be effective as -1 perp.

Other choice won't really matter since they are all pretty bad. MP probably looks best on paper, even if the difference of having it and not having it will only matter if a fight ends with you having 24 or less MP left.

I tested it while resting and found that the refresh is not active while resting, so, better stick with other hmp earrings.

Guess the game offers 4 states. Idle, engaged, resting, dead. So a bit restrictive on the MP restoration.

How is it restrictive when other than fighting EP we spend like 90% of the time in idle, and as for resting with clear mind and gear I start off at 60mp per healing tick not counting food or refresh from trait or gear, so i can't really see myself missing the refresh effect on the earring that much if at all. I could understand how this would be restricted in use for say a BLU but for smn this is the best earring out there.
