On ffxiclopedia it's stated that bloodpact one-shots(in particular, Ifrit's Flaming Crush on an easy prey Esbat) did not count for the magian trials. However, I found that automatons doing the same thing with a nuke(gigas tiger pets in Xarcabard[s]) will get credit for magian trials.
Has there been any change regarding bloodpacts and pet kills after update?

Idk if Predator Claws counts as one-shot or three, but it was taking out the tiger pets in Xarcabard [S] today without assaulting them for my trial, no problems at all.
It was working fine for me yesterday in West Saruta[S]. I was doing the cure potency staff trial, which involves killing elementals. I was targeting the Yagudo SMNs near the Giddeus area. I would summon the avatar corresponding to the spirit's weakness, then merit BP (usually without assault, but not always) which one-shots them. They were all counted toward my progress. If there is a bug, it's more specific than just one-shot kills from pets.
