when you have SMN as a sub, do the summons only go up to 37 or do they have no level and can be useful at 75 when SMN is your sub?

When subbed, your avatars will only be as strong as the subbed Smn's level. For example, if you're a lv. 75 Whm/ 37Smn, then your avatars strength will be as strong as a level 37 Smn's avatars. However, if you were 75 Whm/ 25 Smn, they'd only be as strong as a level 25 Smn's avatars.

The Ward Buffs are as strong as a Lv37 SMN's buffs would be.
Which for the buffs you get by 37 SMN is ok.

You wont have access to any BP's past your /SMN's level.

/SMN is really only used for one thing. Linkfree pulling when you have no SMN main.

Or by old school WHMs for Auto-refresh but now that they have /SCH its a lot more rare to see except in situations where you need to Carby pull something.

Even if you were "old school" these days, you'd be using PLD sub for sentinel and defense bonuses in addition to the auto refresh. I don't know, would you even get some shield mastery or is that higher levels?

Lol, this reminds me of my WHM leveling (I leveled WHM and SMN back and forth and used them as each other's subs until WHM hit 38).

In my jungle parties during the mid to upper twenties, I almost always had good parties (Read: No PL involved) and we did so well that I didn't have a lot to do, so I started summoning avatars and using the tier two elemental spells which his consistently for 12 damage every time, haha.
