I'm camping this guy now..i'm using my SMN. Wiki says 1.5hr spawn or more, if anyone has any more information on this for the summoning belt, please let me know. Thank you all in advance.

I have killed him 4 times so far (no drop yet ;_;) and I have seen it pop as low as in one hour two times.
He is fairly weak; my avatar-favor weakened Carbuncle didn't have much of a problem killing it with normal hits; I did have to use with 1-2 healing ruby II to help him stay alive if you don't want to summon another one.

I got some bad luck with /thf I am currently 0/6 on this thing I would kill with Fenrir and if I had competition use Diabolos waiting on the repops. For me he seemed to pop in the 2 hr range longest I waited was 3 hrs and 25 mins.

Alright, thank you for that. I will keep more of an eye out after that first hour. Which is coming up or me. There isn't any real competition, yet, but I hope it stays that way.

I saw a BLU fight it and it seemed to attack constantly. she was going down but her blu spam was quicker and took out the mob with maybe a few magic fruits. I switched to BLU / PLD for this , but knowing I can tangle with the mob with my SMN makes me feel better since my BLU has been used so much it's down there in the XP.

0/6 now. Appears to have terrible drop rate. Easily soloable for most jobs 55 and higher.
And it's now heavily camped by every tom dick and harry SMN or friends of SMN who is leveling a SMN.

Ouch, that blows. We had maybe..6 people on this at once. Right now it's me and one other, if it gets that bad I will go to the outter ruins and try for my store TP pet cape.

Well. I was lucky, I got the belt.
To those who gave the information. Thank you all very much. And to those who are reading this in hopes to find some extra info on this NM? the people who posted, their findings were 100% correct for me. He is soloable, but likes to hit fast and a decent amount of dmg. But nothing to worry about.
The time frame is reliable, and he can spawn earlier but it was very rare in my case to have him spawn before the 1.5 hr mark..but he did, once.

I'm like 0/9 on him right now. Basically though, as said, he's a lottery spawn of the four Toads at the (I-9)/(I-10) area every 1.5-2hrs. He links with any other Toads in the area, and hits a bit harder than they do, but at the same attack speed. He has permanent Shock Spikes and Enblizzard that cannot be dispelled, and seems susceptible to all debuffs.

I know SE is stingy about giving summoning magic skill lately but I wish they would have at least put higher mp and some mp recovered while resting. It would free up some inventory.

General consensus of opinion seems to be 1,5 to 3h lottery pop of the 4 frogs around I-9 West Sarutabaruta.
One warning, I somehow had 2 Porrogo Gents pop on me there while waiting for repops, they were EP to my THF75. I camped the NM with SMN and got 0/3, so I went THF and got 1/1 on drops.
All the frogs link like crazy.

I just think it is ironic that it is +3 for pets, when SAM traits are like +10 or more and it only really becomes good when you are stacking it up to like 30+. Could at least have given us +15 store TP for pets or something on back... unless there are plans to add another 10 armors with the bonus so we can build for it.
