SMN Burn pulling issueFollow

After a lot of trail and error, I seem to have gotten the system down for the most part concerning SMN burns. I do them almost every day with my girlfriend and occasionally LS members.

The only issue I seem to be having still is pulling. I am almost always the puller and we usually get around 10-15k a pull (though I have seen 30-45k with two pullers, but nobody else ever wants to pull because there is no reward...)

The reason I don't grab as many mobs as I really ought to is, if I get too many, they will lock me in place when the time comes to actually burn, rendering me completely helpless-- and when Phalanx wears off, I'm done for.

It is mostly because in order for me to keep hate on the group of monsters, I must use the /heal command. When I have too many monsters, the /heal command simply doesn't work, even with Stoneskin on, or it has a huge delay of about 5 minutes. Sometimes heal will start working, but then I cannot stand back up no matter what I do, even when SS and Phalanx wear off and I'm being pummeled to death.

I have tried taking measures to reduce lag, such as limiting the clipping plane and putting all my filters up, but I really don't think what is happening here is the same thing as "lag."

Sometimes I will pull so many monsters, that I cannot do anything at all, period. Is there any way to prevent being locked up like this?

Try swapping gear. Blinking out helps you get un-stuck sometimes.

You will never get good pulls and kills with only a single puller. 2 is really needed, 3 is ideal. 4 will maximize your xp/hr.

The main purpose of that 2nd puller is they can bounce hate to allow the tank to recast buffs.

i actually did this once on DNC/war (defender).. i was the only person gathering mobs.. ALOT of mobs, and the Tp they gave me per hit was more than i needed to stay alive with the damage per hit.. so essentially provided i didnt forget to actually hit Curing waltz IV i could stand waiting for the summoners to be ready indefinately

I often find that switching to first person view makes it easier for me to phase through other players/mobs. There will still be some bumping into them and whatnot, but I can much more easily maneuver through them otherwise.
