Are any of those merit BP's worth? maybe picking up 1 or 2 of the comonly bursted elements endgame? I've seen the dmg of some of them and...it was honestly less than my current 70 bp's which is BS considering they are merited but wondering if I missed something..

Yes.

Common plan.

They're not "better" damage. They're different damage. Physical vs. Magical. Also, they're modded by TP, and when at full strength, match 70 BPs.

Not BS. The merits provide a different avenue of approach to a mob, not a better one.

All of them do the same damage. Titan can Stun, no others do anything extra.

The commom approach is to get Titan and whatever else you think is nice.

MBs are dead, but you should probably pick one that can MB in light since Titan can do Darkness.

Pick up the ones you think you would get the most use out of, which mobs do you fight that would warrant magical damage in particular? If you do sky you may get some use out of Wind Blade for kirin, or others for the god of your choice.

Ice and Thunder, if only because that's typically what other nukers use, so you'll have things like Ice Threnody or Lightning Threnody on. They also MB Light and Dark.

I'm swapping Thunder for Wind because I like Garuda and I don't have Threnodies that often.

It's nice in theory, but I don't think I've ever ran into a situation where Chaotic Strikes wouldn't work.

I don't know if anyone's proven that the Stun from Geocrush is earth based, or if the damage is earth-based and the stun is still thunder-based. I've heard speculation both ways, but never bothered to try.

Personally, I'll be meriting Shiva's "Heavenly Strike" BP (definite), and either Ifrit's "Meteor Strike" or Leviathan's "Grand Fall". Shiva is a definite because her level 70 BP is consistently pathetic compared to other avatars, and this will at least make her useful once again (not to mention that I have an elite augmented Aquilo's staff waiting to be used, with a whopping DMG+1 on it).

As for the other merit BP, Ifrit has always been one of my favourite avatars, but I'll probably end up meriting Leviathan purely because of Spring Water - it's just convenient to have a high-damage ability on an avatar that can also heal. I've considered meriting Titan's "Geocrush"; the stun effect would be nifty to have - but to be honest, I've never liked using Titan. The other avatars at least look cool; Titan just looks like an angry fat man with a skin disorder. As far as I'm concerned, his only use is to give me stoneskin when using Sublimation.
