So here's a question for you all since Wiki doesn't seem to have any answers.

Evoker's Gages: These have an attack bonus for Leviathan. Disregarding the Besieged proc in terms of usefulness- has anyone done any testing on these whatsoever? I have them already, but haven't been able to sit down and see if I could get any kind of data out of it.

So, I'm asking all of you. Do you have these mitts? Do you use them? If not, do you go for Nashira? Relic? I use Grand Fall (level 5) on Levi now perhaps more than Spinning Dive, so I may be negating the value of having the gages in the first place, but could keep them around to macro for Dive.

Any thoughts and opinions would be welcomed. Thanks everyone!

I don't have the Gages myself, so I can't comment on how much the att bonus is.
But if you're using spinning drive, I can safely say it is better to use the Gages than the relic, since Spinning drive is already a highly accurate BP in itself.

Not trying to discredit you, but what does a "solid +15 attack bonus" relate to, in terms of damage? +15 skill over cap?

Almost got my hands on these gages, but ran into the usual Mellowy luck. First time we were doing ZNM and ran past it, and I suggested we should kill it. But since we had a few pops to do we decided to skip it that day.

So that was 1 day of just walking past the NM.

Then just a few days later we did Medusa, and again the NM was up. I said "let's kill it!" but was mostly ignored. Then we had to farm missing keys for 2 hours, and hadn't people been afk and I had known it would take 2 hours, I would have insisted on doing the NM. Instead it was 2 hours doing nothing when the NM was just next to us. Following that we did Medusa and I had planned to get help after since we'd probably be dropped off outside. Of course we weren't, we were teled to nashmau and my second attempt at the NM was past.

So that was 2 days of walking past the NM.



At least some offered to come help me some other time, just need to manage to catch people when they are free, which is early afternoon (if logged on) or past midnight (if not logged off).

I use Nashira Gages when I have an avatar out, except for Carby of course when I use his mitts. I macro in the Summoner Bracers before BP'ing. Those are the only hands I use on SMN when not resting.
