finally Summoner's Spats dropped for me in Windy and I was able to complete my Summoner Relic yesterday <3
now I can focus on SCH Relic ^-^

Freaking Qufim, Tav, and SSR just won't put out for me.

Garuda on windsday with doublet and garuda headpiece + nashira gages is great. Practically free if I can remember correctly. And dak i know what you mean. Those dynamis -1 pieces (hands/legs/feet) are not easy to come by

I just got summoner´s bracers -1 from dynamis-burburimu /joy

- other than that 5 (FIVE!) blm hands -1 dropped.....(also pld/blm/blu back/waist item).

Obtained Summoner spats in dynamis saturday. I have wanted these for a long time and we had 2 or 3 drop for us. Im so happy

Soloed lolTitan as 75 SMN with no meds. Tried soloing him at 72 with no meds, and failed due to time. Never bothered to try after.

Now to try beating an old man.

I'm not quite high enough in level to be out obtaining the kinds of gear everyone else has mentioned, so my achievement doesn't seem as impressive - but it is still something I'm proud of.

While leveling on Djinns, I got up to chain 5 for 675 exp with an empress band on - all before 2.00am Iceday. Now, if only I had an Anniversary Band...

I think it's sexier on me.

I thought you'd say that, and... I don't care. It works for what I do. This is something I've wanted ever since I hit 50 and saw what Austere HQed into, but possibility of owning was virtually nil due to costs and other jobs. It's as much a trophy item as it is something that maximizes potential, so I got to have my cake and eat it too. It's less of a placebo than DA turned out to be, and it's a genuine improvement to the job. If I ever become a dedicated HNM/King SMN, I might change it. But I'm happy with my choice, and I didn't come to it lightly. Sorry if you think I'm one of the morons, but unfortunately, it's still sexier on a Taru than it is on a Galka.

The mild rant was a deadpan-delivered joke, hence the "It's still sexier on me."

Nice. I'm still 1/5 (though I could have been 2/5 if I wasn't so nice and passed one after getting the winning lot). At least the one I have is hands which has smn skill boost on it.



I ended up on wotg dragon mission and thought I might as well see if I can solo it on SMN.

I've decided this battle is too much luck. 50% was with summon, BP, run away. 16% was melee SMN. 90% was trying to start battle with kite and then swap to melee.

What killed me first time was (apart from having no more MP) petrify.
What killed me second time was simply no more MP.
What killed me the last two was heavy stomp on draw in that not only prevented my summoning due to damage, it also paralyzed me so I couldn't get anything more off.

Should be soloable as long as the stupid dragon doesn't get lucky WSes on you. That or you bring meds or something. Possibly even 2 houring to save perpetuation for 3 minutes could do it, but still highly dependent on luck with moves.

Anyone else tried?

Well I don't have much as I just started smn a couple days ago, taking a break from drg and loving it.

But...

Soloed from 1-13, partied to 18, went on a run and got my Carby Mitt's, a Water Spirit and a Light spirit in one day :)

Ok, so I finally get to lvl 65 and get Fenrir's <Eclipse Bite>. At this point I should have been satisfied that I could do over 1200 dmg on average to mobs that proc EP to me. But not this kid, I'm never satisfied.

So I set out to get my hands on some of the gear I cant even wear yet XD

Karura Hashigane was first:

My journey started out in WG shouting for help. (I know... unlikely right?) BUT NOT TODAY!!! 3 Hours of shouting and calling in favors and I finally found a LS who specializes in ZNM fights. We left for the Spawn point to start our first fight. The first fight went awsome until around 10% mob health. Then we lost control of the hate and Vulpangue nuked the mages and took all 4 out in one hit. From there, it was basically one after another. Soon, we all wiped. As we lay there dead, we watched as the mob went unclaimed. To make things EPICLY WORSE, we had to sit and watch as Vulpange fell to the ground dead from Poison II. Unclaimed... no Credit... no drops... no nothing. We wanted to kill ourselves.

Attempt number 2, we added 2 more DD's to the mix and did even worse. We lost hate control right off the bat and it was chaos.

Try number 4: After the party got raised and we all came back. The LS leader got pissed. He then invited all of his LS to turn out a full alliance. with 17 lvl 75's and me at 65, we BLASTED the NM and got full drops. I got my Hashigane!!! 4 fights and one de-level later... -_-


Next up... I wanted my YinYang Robe. So after I did my research on the Mob, it was time to find out the ToD. I shouted in WG again and all I got were people laughing at me for expecting someone to tell me. I gave up after 2 hours.

I pretty much decided I would never get it, until yesterday. One of my LS mates who happened to know I was after the ToD sent me a /tell and let me know he just watched Shikigami Weapon go down on his way to Sky. I got my ToD and waited. Come 1 hour before pop time, I grabbed a few close friends and a few COMPLETE STRANGERS and went to Ro'Maeve.

Party set up was as follows: Me (now a 67 SMN), a 75 DRG/RNG (for Widescan), a 75 PLD/WAR and another PLD/WAR who happened to be in the zone and nice enough to help.

We walked under the bridge in the center of the zone and waited until nightfall. At 22:00 exactly, he popped up on the DRG's WS and we gave chase!!! It took about 5 min or running around to get him to aggro us and the fight was on! Absolutely a CAKE WALK. The PLD kept the hate the whole time and we hardly even had to heal. In total, fight took 7 min. Badda bing, badda bang, badda boom. Long story short, I got my YYR 1/1!!!!!!

So in case anyone wants to know. the Shikigami Weapon ToD on Kujata is 9:37pm EST on May 24th 2009. GL!!!!

So now im decked out and ready to lvl again. I cant wait to wear them!!!!

2. More impressively, the TH3 THF who has attended 5 camps with our LS since we snagged ToD has been 5/5 on the drop. I personally have seen 3 of those 5.

I have a history of not getting the one iconic item for each of my jobs at 75. My MNK doesn't have a Black Belt, and until this past weekend, my Summoner didn't have a YY Robe. I expect that my Scholar won't get his Argute belt until 2012.

Carby picked the right box for Treasure and Tribulations! Second time trying and I got an astral ring and a sorcerer's ring which I sold for nearly 2m. that was awesome! Then I turned around just last night and headed into norg after putting off my leviathan fight for far to long and absolutely smashed him with carbuncle AND broke the mini prime clear time. woot woot!
