FFXI Graphic GlitchesFollow

I'm sure I have read about this problem many times but I can't recall what is the quick fix to this.

My problem only happens when someone in party or alliance is shooting arrows and/or bolts. The graphics take up the whole screen for that moment they are shooting. For the most part I have managed to ignore it but it is still annoying. My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 9400. I play FFXI on a Bootcamp partition of my mac mini so changing cards is out of the question for now. I thought I had downloaded the FFXI specific patch to the driver, but I am not sure its working right. Thanks in advance for any advice! On a side note this is the only glitch I am seeing, everything else seems to look okay, even the avatars look fine (they didn't when I first started playing).
