Laptop video cardsFollow

Just a quick q. I know FFXI is ancient and pretty much anything I buy nowadays will run it, but I like to be sure of things, lol.
I was looking at the POL site, and they only list desktop cards, and a dinky example for laptops. Is there another list or something out there that shows laptop video cards that'll run the game? I'm not looking for a fancy pants laptop, but I don't want to use the integrated crap either.

Many of the older integrated Intel video cards do not have Hardeware Texture and Lighting control and will not play FFXI. Other than that, most ATI and Nvidia cards in laptops, and some of the newest INtel integrated crap cards will play it.

FFXI doesn't require Hardware T&L--FFXIV does.

The integrated intel chip on my laptop is 10x the requirements for FFXI, and this is years old.

it used to. did they remove that requirement?

Huh, stuff online is suggesting you need it. Which is REALLY confusing, because my chip definitely doesn't have it and I can play XI just fine...
