Just saw this today and figured I'd share it--Newegg is putting out some videos on how to build your own rig. They're kinda rudimentary, but it's nice for those of us that have never built their own computers. They don't go deep into various options (like AMD vs. Intel differences, beyond socket types), but it's still really nice to see the basic differences between them. And they mention the differences between hard drives and SSDs, for instance.
Plus, they actually show the sockets, and start give some basics about comptability. Most likely won't be too useful for most people around here, but not awful.
Only the first video is out--about what the different components are and how to choose them--the second will actually involve the building and such.
