Can't install RIFT :: World of Warcraft

My computer has a clean hard drive, no Rift files. Bought the game from gamestop, created an account and tried to apply the game code from the box. I keep getting a message, cannot redeem this code at this time, try later. I've been trying for two days, contacted tech support. I received an e mail, will get back to you in 24 hours with a solution, that didn't happen. All I got was a bunch of links with possible solutions, none of them apply. The tech support here really sucks. You'd think with a new game code, you would get an express track to a full client download. They got my money, shame on me.

If you bought the game, you should already have the full client minus any patches.

You're right, I have the full client download which will only load if the product registration code is accepted. Its not being accepted, and tech support isn't coming up with a solution.

You dind't buy the game used from gamestop by any chance did you? or an opened box? Usually that error message indicats the code was incorrectly printed, or has already been used. You are basically screwed until they fix it for you. I'd try calling Rift customer service directly.
