Help installing a 2nd internal hard disk driveFollow

I bought a new 1TB HDD for my PC as when I built it originally I could only afford to buy a 250gb HDD. It arrived this morning and I hooked it up with new problems. I switched on my PC and it recognised the new hardware but when I go to my computer it's only showing my original HDD. Any ideas where I'm going wrong? I'm kind of new to this.

Any help will be appreciated.

Ok that makes it easy to do then. You can do a search on changing a partition on windows 7 help or I will post step by step directions later. I am on an xp machine and I need to switch to my other computer.

Ok From Start Select the control panel

Administrative tools
Create and format hard drive partitions

A window called Disk Management should pop up.

From there you should see your new hard drive

Select the new hard drive by left clicking. The right click and set it theway you want.
