outdated driversFollow

what is the best way to make sure all of your drivers are up to date,they don't make it easy.when i went to ati page they wanted me to dll a program that would do the job for me,but they didn't tell me it would be $30.00.Is there a better free way?

What drivers are you wanting to update? Sounds like if its ATI you want to update your ATI video drivers? If so you just go to their website and there should be an option somewhere to download drivers. IF it was trying to charge you $30 sounds like you were at one of those scam sites trying to get money out of people for junk software that you don't need.

You will need to know the model number of your card to do this though.

Driveragent does cost to get the downloads, but it works well. You can use it in "free" mode if you just want the version number of the latest driver though. I haven't found a really good free program that operates like secunia does at this time. Driveragent is about the closest i've been able to find.
