Whenever I do this ( I play official windowed) and open IE to go into ZAM I get a game server error in FFXIV and it crashes, then my wireless network cuts and I have to wait a while for it all to reconnect. This does not happen when I am browsing ZAM and not playing the game. Anyone know what the problem may be? Its getting really annoying now because if I want to check something online as I play I can't.

Linksys Wireless wag160n
No other things on my home network

Have tried looking on the net to find a solution but it seems FFXIV specific.

Try switching to Firefox. I haven't seen any issue like this using firefox and FFXIV in window mode. I usually have two firefox sessions open while playing.

I've never encountered that. I'd almost suspect something possibly virus-ish in that scenario that activates when you load IE. Are you getting any odd pop ups or random **** web page spam? Also, are you running IE9 beta by any chance?
