My problem is that i did the installation, registered online got my account setup and now when i try to login to the game, I enter my username and password then a new window opens, 5 seconds later i get a message saying
Final Fantasy XIV has stopped working
Why would this be happening and never had any problems with other bigger games

Your video card isn't listed in that, and would be the most important consideration.

The game requires, at a minimum, a GeForce 9600 with 512MB or a Radeon HD 2900 with 512MB. There aren't a whole lot of mobile cards at/above that level, so that may be part of the problem.

I didn't see any video card drivers listed for that model at their esupport site--for some reason I can't find a system specs listing there either. I am guessing it may have Intel Graphics, which won't work for FF14.
