I have tried everything i can think of. I am trying to run this on an HP G60 series laptop with an intel 900 processor running at 2.2 GHz. It has 2 gb of ram and graphics work really well with all other games like Two Worlds, and Elven Legacy. I have directx 11 installed and am running windows 7 home premium. Please let me know it there is any solution to this problem

Thanx

That card is liekely in the minimum specs range (shader 4.0) for FFXIV. They call for at least a 9600 series card, so there may be more to it than just the shader core though. Did a quick search on it and benchmarks score it just below the ATI 3200 line, so even if it has the hardware specs needed (would expect it to as it's a DX10.1 solution), it is likely borderline performance. It also uses shared memory, so it could be really thrashing the hardware and overheating something if it does fine at times then starts crashing on you.

The msvcrt reference takes me back to some old issues with VB or C+ or something like that, so wondering if it isn't the nVidia control panel mucking something up. Could try closing the systray app to see if it skirts around the msvcrt problem.

It could also be a driver problem, but I'd hazard a guess there might be a hardware issue as well.

I'd try reinstalling windows script host too. It probably won't help, but it might work.
