Does anyone know how to get the game running on xp 64? with the open beta you ran the ffxivsetup.exe on another machine and copied the files over. Anyone know how to do it for retail?
on windows XP 64? Ouch. I suspect you might possibly be screwed in that scenario. You "might" be able to copy the directory, but there are probably a few registry keys you would have to build manually.
unless you absolutly have to stay at XP 64 bit, I'd move to 7 if I were you. XP 4 bit is actually slower than XP 32 bit except for when a true 64 bit application is in play. Windows 7 does not have that drawback.
