I've suddenly (and without any discernible provocation, as far as I can tell) begun receiving error messages when I try to start up Google Chrome.
"The application failed to initialize: error 0x0000135"
Clicking "OK" prompts the message to reappear continually. The tab goes unresponsive, so I have to force close.
A quick search of the error online didn't prove fruitful for me. I've tried reinstalling Chrome, reinstalling and updating my .NET framework, and running as administrator. The latter two are proposed solutions that seem to have worked for some. No luck for me yet.
Operating system is Vista. Browser is default Google Chrome.
