I know this is pretty minimal but is it a good deal for the money and could it run FFXIV (on lower settings)?

I'm going to have to say no because of the onboard video. Everything else would be fine for FFXIV. I'd suggest getting at least an Nvidia GTS250 or an ATI 5770.

Well I'm getting all of the above but upgrading to an ATI 5770, so altogether its going to cost me about $630

But that's with Windows 7 Home Premium and doing no work.
