FFXI Connection ProbsFollow

Hello, i have been playing FFXI off and on for 8 years now and have a seemingly unique problem. Whatever network I am on if anyone else is online, wireless or otherwise, i cannot connect. It seems like even the tiniest interference and i get errors every time I hit a button to try to connect. I have it set so XP finds addresses automatically and all my ports are forwarded correctly and have contacted everyone I know with any exp in networking and nada. Anyone have any ideas on what my prob is? Please let me know

Thank you

Well you aren't giving very much information.. "if someone else is on, I can't connect."

What ISP do you have?
Which router?
Are you on wireless, or wired in?
If anyone is online, or say... seeding on utorrent at max speed?
How is your network configured?
Where else do you get this issue?
What are the specifications of your computer?

Playing a flash game
No idea
On my ps2 years ago as well as my PC these days, in multiple diff networks and people houses
Specifications? Like GPU and Video Card? Does that have something to do with connection issues?

Any help would be great, thank you in advance for answers.

So you took your computer to someone else's house and it also had that issue? If so, that would point to your computer as the culprit of the issue.

And yeah, if you're running ffxi on win2k with 256MB of ram, and a fx5200, a lot of things could mess ffxi up.
