4 FPS on a brand new MBP help please! (was forum=28)Follow

#1 Jul 03 2010 at 6:45 PM Rating: Decent
Just purchased a brand new macbook pro for school, and i put wow on it only to find myself with 4 fps even in orgrimmar. Now my '07 iMac Desktop works just fine, i've deleted my cache, wtf, and add on folder, changed some settings around and what not, still having problems. Anyone have any ideas on how i can get this fixed? I know i should be getting better performance out of this computer even with WoW. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Your video card mostly likely sucks. What is it?

It's a Macbook (laptop), there is no way to change the video card on it anyway.

I thought pro was the one where you actually can do that? Oh well, not like macs can play games anyway. :3

(At least he'll know what his problem is, besides that he bought a mac laptop and expected it to play games.)

Take it back to the store and buy a real computer if you want to play games on it.

Maybe you just suck at computers, because I can play Portal on my old regular macbook.
