I recently ordered a Dell/Alienware Aurora Desktop.

- Intel core i7 975 Extreme (3.33 GHz 8MB cache )

- 12GB tripple channel 1333 MHz DDR3

- 21.5 inch Alienware AW2210 OptX Full HD gaming monitor, 21.5 viewable image size

- Dual 1.8GB Nvidia Geforce GTX 260-SLI enabled

- 500 GB- SATS-II 3Gb/s 7200RPM 16MB Cache HDD

- 875W PSU

It is comming this week, I am wondering if this is a good desktop to play WOW at max settings ? If anyone owns one and plays WOW, I would appreciate feedback.

Hmm, high end settings, maybe maxed. Your video cards are your week link. the 260's are the midrange cards, you really wanted at least 2 280's. Also, your hard drive is going to be another limiting factor. That rig needed 10,000 RPM raptors or solid states to reach its full capabilities. Can always upgrade later though, use the 500GB as a data drive, stick a nice 160GB SSD in as the OS and game drive.

I'm still using my dual 15,000 RPM SAS drives. Waiting on a hybrid SAS SSD adaptor before I upgrade at the moment.

I hope you're planning to play more than WoW with that rig, the specs you posted are enough to play Crysis on Very High settings.
