Edit: Updated to 3.6, removed some add-ons and the problem persists.

Firefox is starting to grind my gears with this memory leak. I'm reading Google search results from 2006 (?!) about the issue and some four years later we still have it? After having kept Firefox open for about six hours, it was using 250mb of RAM on one tab (this site).

I have the following add-ons installed:

Adblock Plus v1.1.3
NoScript v1.9.9.45
AVG Safe Search v9.0.0.716
Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant v1.1 (in 3.6 it says v0.0.0)
United States English Dictionary v4.0.0 (hey, it's not my native language)

I checked the interwebs for some articles on Firefox and such. People claim that Firefox should use around 40mb with one tab open, but right now (I just rebooted Firefox) it's using 70mb and growing fast. Any suggestions as to what might be causing it?

Should've mentioned I tried that "fix" without luck. 80mb while minimized and then it starts to climb.

I switched to Google Chrome and so far I have no plans of going back.
