I just installed XI onto a PC, everything works fine. But when I get into a battle or to simply run. The environment effects are poor. I tried looking into the game settings but I really have no idea what to do or look for. Seeing as how this is my first online game on computer, can anyone assist me on how to fix this problem. Or at least make them a little better.
System specs, current game resolution, network connection speed, etc.

This site explains most of the settings and what they do. You will just have to play with it until you get something that works for battles, etc...
