Wrath of the Lich King problemsFollow

#1 Jul 01 2009 at 5:55 AM Rating: Decent
I just bought the World of Warcraft expansion:Wrath of the Lich King yesterday and downloaded it and all the patches that I needed to and upgraded my account. It said the installation was successful and a opened up WoW and went to the Character Creation to make a DK (I DO have a lvl 55 character, actually lvl 57) and it wouldn't let me. So then I logged onto my lvl 57 and tried to fly to Northrend and it said "You must have the Wrath of the Lich King installed to access this area."

Can someone please help?

Thanks

So what was the fix then?

I see to have the same issue, the manual says that you should get a separate Lich King Icon on your desk top I've jsut got the standard WoW one?

Is there something wrong with the set up?

Cheers,

Ben

The icon is irrelevant. The OP probably forgot to enter the registration key into his account.

If you installed the xpack, you have to register it to your account or nothing happens ^-^

I had this issue when I played FFXI, forgot to register a xpack and couldn't fig out wth was wrong...
