Hi all just had a little issue that I was hoping someone could help out with. First off I'm playing FFXI on the XBOX 360 and I seem to be having some display & screen tear issues that I don't get on the pc version. Now just to help I have a 32" Toshiba Regza 1080p LCDTV w/ HDMI which is the input I use. Now I currently have the output set to 1080p. I was wondering if maybe there's any settings or suggestions to make this go away. Now I know it's an MMO and it's not suppose to be super pretty but let's face it folks it sucks when your game runs horribly. Well thank you for your time, I hope maybe someone has any answers for me.

Sorry, I know I'm new but that's precisely why I asked a question. I was pretty sure that's what you do when, well, "YOU DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER TO SOMETHING!". If anyone has any useful information to lend to someone in need please pm with answers or suggestions. Oh btw I am here to enjoy the game the way it was meant to be enjoyed.

Just so you know, it wasn't the fact that you asked a question, it was that you asked it in a forum that is NOT Technical Support.

@OP: I have four platforms I run FFXI on, Windows comp/Vista Comp/PS2/Xbox 360. My 360 uses the HDTV out from the original 360 video out adapter, and the TV is set to 1080i. I have never had any graphical problems with FFXI, not even the besieged problems that can be found all over the place on the forums.

Anyways, you'd be better off playing it on your pc than 360. In high volume events like besieged and dynamis, 360 players are know to dc alot.
