Hello all,

I am currently at my wits end here trying to solve a graphics issue sorta speak. Upon entering the game you notice a half a second delay on everything from moving the arrows around to the clouds in the background hanging just briefly, mind you this issue is not hindering me from playing its just annyoning as all hell. I am currently running an ATI mobility radeon hd 4330, I cannot find any new drivers past 12-11-2008 (release version I believe). If anyone can help me figure this out it would be greatly appreciated

This isn't a ffxi exclusive website, Allah hosts lots of games. You're in the generic tech help forum.

This vague description could fit a number of problems. Can you clarify the issue a bit?

Does this mean that when you press a button to target something it takes a half second before the key your pressed registers on the screen?

Are you having any other lag issues with the computer or the internet? Have you tested download speeds to make sure its not a bandwidth issue?

Do you play other computer games without issue (i.e. is your computer fast enough to handle the graphics, not just your video card?)

Have you tried standard troubleshooting tips such as disabling background software that is running when the game is on or reducing the graphics quality? One thing I noticed that makes this game a bit choppy on slower computers is the weather effects, you can turn those off in the Setup options.
