Ok. I need help reading Korean in game. I started on the Japanese server and that was fine. On my PC if I'm just browsing Internet Explorer I can read Korean but some reason I can't get it while playing in game. It just shows up as little boxes. Hoping one of you will be able to help me here. I'm desperate.

Coming to the OOT to learn a new language probably isn't advisable.

First you have to get rid of the alternating capital letters in your name.

They're just asking if you want to buy their gil, so why do you need it translated?

I thought that style of cool passed with the 90's.

Actually I need it for guild purposes. I joined an all Asian guild on the US server (W U R I) back on April 18 2008 and I have yet to get this installed. Someone finally brought it up to me because a couple people weren't using voice chat and were typing instead.. Course I had no idea what they were saying due to only seeing little boxes.

Is this for WoW? If it is, I did a simple Google search and came up with this post:

Ok I figured out how to Add the korean characters to the wow interface.

1. First you have to go to this page: http://wow.somegate.com/topic.php?topic_uid=81554.
2. In the first post download the link that says: Andarield_1188739162_wow-enus.zip. It's in yellow words at the very bottom of the first post.
3. After that extract the fonts folder to the desktop.
4. Create a new folder in side the WoW main folder and name it Fonts.
5. Unzip the 4 .TIF files into the newly created fonts folder.
6. Restart your WoW client and you are good to go.

Why would you join an "all Asian" guild if you 1) aren't Asian and 2) don't speak the language?

OK... some more searching came up with this patch:
http://www.eq2interface.com/downloads/info4640-JadeProjectGlyphexpansionsolutionofEQ2CJKcharactersincluded.html

Hope that helps. The link goes to a page with the download and an explanation.

I do speak it I just can't read it on the game and I grew up in Saitama Pref Tokyo so I was hoping for more Japanese people but most of them transfered to Najena after the guild decided not to raid like before in the middle of last year. When I am in voice chat I am fine, just having troubles with the typing. Plus, I'm still in my Japanese schedule since I moved to the States I can't seem to get off of it. These guys are on the same time as me ^^

Thanks for the link. I'm hoping this works. I can't test it out at the moment seeing as the server is down.

BTW - Who said I'm not Asian? I did mention in a prior post I'm having a little Asian boy due March 13
