Error on uploading avatarFollow

I am trying to upload a new avatar and I keep getting an error: "Error: File upload failed." I just subscribed a few minutes ago, so not sure if that is the problem. I have been a subscriber in the past so I still have old images on my account. My file is 119x119 and is about 12kb in size.

I am able to upload it to my images but not to my avatars. I am using Firefox 2.~ on a mac.
