FFXI ErrorFollow

#1 Jun 08 2008 at 12:16 PM Rating: Decent
When I log into my playonline account, go to play FFXI I get to the point of the opening cutscene and POL closes and I get an error window that is titled "Play Online Viewer" and in the box is the message "No such interface Supported". Now here is the kicker, it doesnt do that everytime. How do I fix this?(speak english because im not very computer savvy) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

everyone knows that gaxe has always been the greatest of all weapons for a warrior. sure, you can quote your parsed numbers about how DW axe has better DoT, or how good a ridill is for TP generation or some other crap. but none of that compares to the visceral feeling of taking a large, heavy, bladed object, and jamming it squarely into the head of something as hard as you possible can. i like to call this bonus the "i-dont-use-@#%^-***-one-handed-weapons" bonus, or more concisely, The Man Bonus.

its a little known fact, but gaxe has a hidden stat tied to it as well. something along the lines of chm, this hidden stat (termed Msc, short for Masculinity) increases the gaxe wielder's ability to plunder villages and eat the hearts of his enemies while also allowing said gaxe user to dual wield virgin maidens in his bedroom.

I started getting that interface error right after I installed Windows service pack 3 last week. What Virus protection do you use? I was also getting errors on Norton's, but everything was fixed when i uninstalled and reinstalled Norton's. My account was hacked the very next day, but at least i got the errors cleaned up for the RMTs^^

Dont know if you have XP service pack 3 installed but it has run into some problems with some things. Microsoft even admitted that it is a bit buggy. Might want to look into that if its a SP 3 thing.

It sounds like you have a corrupted file in FFXI. Have you ran the file scanner to see if something is corrupted?
