I just hooked my PC up to my new 1920x1080p monitor/television, and so far I can only get FFXI to run in a 4x3 aspect ratio box, with black bands on the sides, even if I set the resolution to 1920x1080. Is there a way I can get this game to run in true widescreen?

There is a option in the menu... Don't remember which one that will allow you to set the Aspect Ratio... Go search for it... I remember cause my brother had the same problem
