POL-1558 (was forum=10)FFXIFollow

So..yeah, I took a break for about 5 months. When I decide to come back, I have to get a new HDD(I really dun wanna use PC, PS2 just feels more natural) and install everything 'for the first time' again...

Connection's really.....fickle. I actually logged into POL once in the past 3 days or so, and that made me figure there was nothing seriously wrong, just a crappy connection. But, whenever I try to install something, say Rise of Zilart, it starts to "Authinticate" and the bar gets about 1/3 of the way up, but nothing else happens for about 2 minutes or so, and the error message POL-1558. I looked at some random forums asking about the same thing, and found 2 people who said to just keep trying. Just wanted to know if this is what I should really do, or if it was just some people being smart-alecs just ******** with people's naivete.

Thanks in advance, and sorry if it's a stupid question that shoulda been posted somewhere else. Just figured this place would be most likely to give a response.
