I got the game today, installed everything, registered on PlayOnline, but when i press the "Play" button in the FFXI menu, i get a black screen and the screen returns to the PlayOnline menu... Help me please...
What are your system specs? Processor, graphics card, etc. What version of direct X do you have? Since you can get into POL I think your DirectX should be fine but who knows.

nevermind, i reinstalled it and it works now, thanks anyway :D
when you had the black screen did you have sound coming? cuz i get a black screen too AND sound.
But, i've already tried reinstalling. and i still have this blank screen problem.
