Everquest has started crashing every 20-30mins of play lately, it seemed like it started with the last patch and I have no idea whats causing it. After the crash I get a window that says EQ has suffered from a serious error and if I want to send them char and zone info. After that its back to windows. Ive lost so much exp from this its not funny, if anyone has any ideas to whats wrong please help me.

Please post your system specifications.

Also, approximatly what temperature is it inside your house when the crashes occur? hotter than norma, average, cold?

My system,
2000mhz, 514mb ram, 60gig hd, vid car is 64mb Geforce 4 MX 440

One thing I noticed, this all started when my computer was restarting on its own, which is probably a virus. It still did for awhile but when I was in eq it was crashing alot, not restarting. I did virus scan (McAfee) and it came up clean. I did ad-aware scan and had some stuff that I got rid of. After that i experienced several hours of eq without any problems. After that I got online, just going to my usual sites, and then much later on in the day when i was in eq bam it restarted comp. I logged back into eq and not even 10 mins into game it crashed to windows just like before, not restarting comp though. I have a feeling this virus is ******** me up in ways more then restarting my comp. BTW I am positive its not a heat issue.
