FFXI - Error 995Follow

I am trying to reinstall FFXI and have uninstalled the Zilart expansion and the Playonline Viewer without any problems. When I try to uninstall FFXI itself, I get a message that says "Error: -995 The I/O operation has been aborted because either a thread exit or an application request". I don't know what I need to do and need help.
