Do this EEFORE you panicFollow

I've noticed that people usually ask for assistance without doing basic troubleshooting steps.

If you've been running game X for months without any issues and you suddenly have a problem, please try the following before you post. 75% of problems can be solved this way:

a) Update the firmware for your router
b) Update the bios for your motherboard and video card
c) Install the latest drivers for the video and sound cards
d) Do a speed test at http://www.toast.net
e) See if other games still work, or if they all start crapping out on you
f) Open the right ports on your router for game X
g) Update your anti-virus and scan for viruses
h) Donload Ad-Aware (http://www.lavasoft.de) and scan for spyware


Now these steps won't apply to EVERY problem, but do the appropriate ones and chances are your problem will go away. If the problem persists, then we'll do our best to help you out.
