Help pls!cant log in FFXI!Follow

I've been playing FFXI for like,half a year now without any problems n all..It's only about an hour or so ago that problems arise.Didnt mess with anything or whatever..Initially,it was the "whenever I zone" part where I'll get the connection error n get logged out.Then after a while of logging back in to zone n gettin back to Windows,I cannot log in to POL anymore.It can verify my username n password..but when it gets to "Retrieving online status...",it'll always hang right at the half way point.The program's still running n the bar just stops there..
Anyone has any idea?sighz..I'm at a lost..
Am behind a router but have tried direct connect to no avail..Am using WindowsXP..May I also know where is the folder where macros r kept?

Please help if anyone has even the slightest info.. :(

o emm..sorry bout that..
the current problem I'm facing now,is that I'm stuck in the POL Viewer.After typing the password,I'll log in..which'll be verified by POL..After this verificaiton procedure,it'll retrieve a few things..online status,friend list,messages,etc..there'll be this bar below the words representing the loading.Its at this point which I can go no further.the bar just stops loading halfway when its still retrieving my online status..Then it'll give me this error code -> "POL-0260 Network is busy or there are connection problems.."
In steps,it'll be like this..

1. Load POL
2. Type in password for verification
3. POL attempts to verify it(I can get pass this screen)
4. POL will then load my "online status,friend list,etc.."
5. Am stuck at the "online status" part..just wont load finish
(Wont let me get to the screen where I can view and choose messages,games,config,etc..)

I've no problems with my internet..This just happened out of the blue..Hope the above is clear..Sorry about my english..Am troubled about this problem.. :(

I have no idea why but the game just got on fine after I've not touched it for like, 2 days..
Hope I wont have to go through something like that again..
