Missing character parts in FF11?Follow

Whenever I log into FF11, everything works fine except for the fact that character models are mostly missing.
For example, my Taru character appears as a floating head, or maybe a couple random polygons.
My human character appears as a couple of shoulderpads.
Terrain and objects, however, appear properly.

I have done a thorough file check, upgraded my video drivers (I have an ATI Radeon 9200), and changed settings in an attempt to resolve this, to no avail.

Has anyone else had a similar problem, and if so, how can it be fixed?

It is rather strange.
