Could be a heat issue? Open up your case and leave it open and play. Maybe direct a fan if you have one handy into the case to get some air circulation going. See if that removes the crashes. If it does, then go and buy a case fan or two and install them. Overheating is common, especially with AMD chips if you only use the stock cases (not enough fans on them).

Run a virus scan at housecall.trendmicro.com

A short duration lockup like that usually means either a virus, or your video/system ram is toast. Is cheaper to check for viruses first...

did you put the processor on the MB yourself? I know a lot of people who screwed up putting the heatsink on, it led to similiar problems in EQ. next time you turn you comp on, turn down all your graphics, and sit in WFP looking at the ground. See how long it takes you to crash. the next morning, turn your graphics up and head to any LoY zone. If you crash faster in LoY with graphics tuned up, its likely that your heatsink has been fried or was put on wrong.

thank you for all the suggestions I have checked for viruses and comp is clean

I did not install mobo and processor

I have redone the drivers and direct x at least three times.

I will definetly try to put some more fans in my comp that is all I can think of althouhg I used to be able to play star wars galaxies and kights of the old republic for hours with no problems.

Thank you all for the great advice I hope it works :)
