EQ-Going Linkdead after GoD and installing Citrix ICA clientFollow

Hi, Jim Nesselroad here.
Problem is above. Occurs avery 5-10 minutes on two computers that are wireless DSL internet connected. We have the Linksys routers and that problem has been solved.

One computer has the 64 MB DDR Nvidia GeForce2 Ultra. And everytime we leave EQ it says be sure to install DirectX 9.0 despite the fact we havce already done that.

The other computer should be fine as I bought it about the time the Bazaar went live and it usually flies thru the bazaar.

I am wondering if the Citrix ICA Client has changed any of the settings on my computer at home, or has set up a conflict.

Any ideas on how to diagnose this problem?

I have defragged, used Adaware, virus scanned and done that right stuff. I don't know about drivers.

I will also take any general ideas, such as an algorithm to try daignose a problem in general.

Geforce 2's are having many problems with the graphics updates from GoD. You are going to want to upgrade that before the full graphics update in the next three months, because it won't be supported after that point. The latest video card driver is here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_53.03

I have only played with Citrex 2 or three times, so I really don't know enough about it to make a determination on that. It could be. Is citrex running in the background?

How far away from the wireless base station is the computer that is going linkdead? Do you have WeP turned on in the router options?

Try going to start:run:msconfig and see if there is anything on the startup list that could be interfering with the connection, things like quicktime, etc that checks for auto updates. ALso make sure that you are not exceeding your ram requirements.

Are both computers going LD? or jsut the one?
